Beautiful and practical, the hand broom is both a tool and a decoration. Whether sweeping the floor or cleaning the windows, making magic or tidying up space, brooms are one of the most versatile tools around. Every culture has a history of brooms and broommaking, whether witchy or no.


In this Broommaking class, we'll teach you how to make a hand broom from scratch, while learning a bit about the history of American broom craft and a little magic as well. You’ll learn the basic tools and techniques to make a traditional turkey wing broom for tidying up floors, sweeping cobwebs, or hanging on the wall for a bit of farmhouse style.
